StationaryPalette provides an unified interface to mamage templates of any kind of files without depending on other applications.
Also making a new file by copying a template is a very good way to avoiding cooped up saving dialogs.
Adding not only templates but aloso empty files of various applications to StationeryPalette. StationeryPatte can be a start point of editing documents.
